SuperNotecard provides tools to help writers specify what parts of the project to export. For example, writers can choose to hide card titles or deck descriptions when exporting to their rough draft in a word processor. In addition SuperNotecard incluces an option to export the project as an outline.

SuperNotecard can also export projects as OPML files. Version 1.5 can also import OPML files created by other applications. OPML is a standardized XML format for outlines.
