Functionality Questions

• Are my screenplay projects from SuperNotecard compatible with SuperNotecard for Scriptwriting? top
  Screenplay projects built with SuperNotecard versions 1.7 or 1.6 can easily be opened in SuperNotecard for Scriptwriting. Prior formatting will be respected.

• How do you display the scene sequence numbers? top
  While SuperNotecard cannot directly print to 3x5 notecards or Avery notecard sheets, it is possible to print more than one card on a piece of paper. Start by enabling "Preceed with page break" for cards on the Print & Export tab in the application's Preferences. Next print the project and select from your printer's layout options to print 4 pages per sheet of paper. For best results, also select "landscape" for the page orientation.

• How do I print to 3 x 5 notecards? top
  While SuperNotecard cannot directly print to 3x5 notecards or Avery notecard sheets, it is possible to print more than one card on a piece of paper. • What are my export options? top
  SuperNotecard can export a project to Rich Text File (RTF) format which is compatible with most every word processor. SuperNotecard provides tools to help writers specify what parts of the project to export. For example, writers can choose to hide card titles or deck descriptions when exporting to their rough draft in a word processor. In addition SuperNotecard incluces an option to export the project as an outline.

  SuperNotecard can also export projects as OPML files. Version 1.5 can also import OPML files created by other applications. OPML is a standardized XML format for outlines.

• What is meant by Factors? top
  Factors represent content elements that simply factor into the prose. Characters, places, symbols, events, brand names, dates, etc. are all examples of factors in SuperNotecard's fiction projects.

System & Computer Questions

• Is SuperNotecard 2.0 compatible with Macs featuring the Intel Core Duo? top
  Yes. SuperNotecard 2.0 is also compatible with Macs running on the new Intel Core Duo chip.

• Are project files interchangeable between both the Mac and Windows versions of SuperNotecard? top
  Yes. Projects saved on SuperNotecard for Mac OS X can be opened and changed in the Windows version (and vice versa) provided the *.snc extension remains intact.

• Is SuperNotecard compatible with my Miss Lonelynotes files? top
  I noticed that SuperNotecard saves files with the *.snc extension. Miss Lonelynotes used a different extension. Yes. SuperNotecard opens both *.mln and *.snc. By default SuperNotecard saves files with a *.snc extension.

• I know SuperNotecard requires Java. How can I tell if my machine is properly equipped? top
